Kalu'thar Haven
After weeks of sailing on the ocean, your ship is battered by storms, and your provisions are running low. As Port Ocean still seems far away, a glimmer of hope appears on the horizon: a small, icy island shimmering in the mist. As you approach, you discover a strange Tuskarr village, built with giant ice spikes erected by the inhabitants to protect themselves from terrifying creatures that have haunted the island for some time. The villagers, though tense, are willing to welcome you. They explain that these ice spikes are their means of defense against monstrous, twisted creatures known as Exobeasts—strange beings born from an ancient corruption called the Dark. The villagers warn you that these creatures have been roaming for years, and that the island itself seems to feed this curse. Conversations with the villagers reveal many details about these creatures and the island's history, but the threat of the Exobeasts remains ever-present. Before leaving the island for Port Ocean, you face a crucial decision: flee quickly to prepare for your journey, or investigate further to try to stop the spread of the Dark and protect those who come after you. The island grows darker with every step, its mysteries becoming ever more threatening. Time is running out.
